The pitcher that ate some grass.

My son was playing in a coach pitch game last year when the little boy on the team that never came close to a hit came to the plate. The whole team was wishing this little guy would hit the ball. The coach told him to watch the ball as he had done every time for the last 8 games. And this time he did and smack he hit the ball hard to the joy of everyone in the stands until they realized where he had hit it. That's right the coach/pitcher was soon doubled over to the shock to everyone except the little boy jumping up and down on the first base bag. Oh the coach did get up and his family jewels were OK after he caught his breath and got some blood flowing back to his head. It was tense for a moment but now we all laugh about it especially the coach who on that day took one for the team. Click here to read or post comments.
